The photo of John that appears at the top of the Biography section is the only photograph of him that I have been able to find, courtesy of Matthew Strathern, a collector of Johns work.

If you have paintings by John which you are happy to share on this site then please send photos (preferably with a camera or high resolution mobile phone) and, if possible, include whether it is oil on board or canvas, and the size, date, title and if the work is signed.
